Aiza’s Teddybear Foundation is a non-profit organization striving to improve living standards for at-risk youth. Since 2013, we have been on a mission to send bear hugs in the form of teddies, warm clothing and good food to children in need. Our initiatives are based on the idea that everyone deserves happiness; a feeling that for some comes in the form of a stuffed toy friend, a backpack filled with school supplies, clothing that makes them feel confident or a big bear hug! We work to provide opportunities to individuals in need by opening doors and paving paths towards healthier, safer, and economically stable lives for all.
With a constant desire to make a difference, Aiza founded Aiza’s Teddybear Foundation because she wanted to devote more of her time towards helping others. What began as a grade 10 civics class project quickly turned into something much more.
It has been seven years, tens of thousands of repurposed items, thousands of collective community service hours, hundreds of engaged student volunteers and many smiles since we founded Aiza’s Teddybear Foundation and our hearts are still so full. We are more and more passionate about finding ways to give back to our local and global communities with every passing day.
