Learning online during a pandemic
By: Vivian Yan
When schools were reopening, school districts had a rough time deciding on how to approach the situation. While there were many factors to ponder over, most school boards decided on a general take. Many decided on online school, while some others chose to try a hybrid learning model. Many students were given the choice towards which learning method they’d prefer, which was proven to lessen some stress. While these changes were hard to adapt to, it also offered many students a better path. Many individuals tend to do better online, as physically getting to school can often affect children’s sleep schedule and mental health. Being offered this alternative can change some people’s education career permanently, as it could cause them to indulge more in academics due to a change in mindset. While COCID-19 impacted the world negatively in several aspects, it also offered others positive change.
